I’m running for state representative...
I’m a lifelong Michigander who has called West Michigan home for the past decade. Growing up, my parents made sure we were raised with a strong faith and a set of values that have stayed with me my whole life: Work hard. Tell the truth. And love my neighbor as myself.
After graduating from Hope College, I chose to stay in the community that helped shape who I am today. Over the past several years, I’ve worked with community leaders and local organizations focused on strengthening West Michigan and helping people create meaningful change.
That work has given me a firsthand look at the challenges families are facing every day — rising costs, political dysfunction, and a growing feeling that too many people in Lansing have stopped listening. It’s also reinforced something I’ve always believed: government should work for ordinary people, not just the powerful.
Now, I’m running for State Representative in Michigan’s 86th House District to give back to the community that has given so much to me and fight for a future where all Michiganders have the opportunity to live with dignity, stability, and hope. That’s the kind of politics I believe in. And it’s the kind we can build, if we’re willing to work together.
