I’m running for state representative...
I’m running for State Representative because I believe a better kind of politics is possible. It’s time we cut through the noise and nonsense that has come to dominate our system and get back to what really matters: improving the quality of life for all of our neighbors.
I’m a lifelong Michigander who has called West Michigan home for the past decade. After graduating from Hope College with a degree in Political Science, I chose to stay in the area and have spent the past six years engaging with this community through various political roles and non-profit work. From campaign manager to Development and Communications Associate Director at the Holland Museum, I’ve been deeply committed to community-building, driven by the belief that individuals have the power to create meaningful change. I’ve sought out roles that allow me to enhance the lives of others and strengthen the communities we call home. My experience in both political and nonprofit spaces has reinforced the importance of listening to people, meeting them where they are, and empowering them to take action.
This community helped shape the person I am today. Now, I want to give back and help shape its future. I’m ready to fight for a future where all Michiganders have the opportunity to live with dignity, stability, and hope. That’s the kind of politics I believe in. And it’s the kind we can build, if we’re willing to work together.
